Adding Items

Adding items to your cupboard is quick and easy:

  1. Start typing - Type an ingredient name in the search box
  2. Select or create - Choose from suggestions or add a new item
  3. Set details - Set the quantity, unit, and category
  4. Add expiry - Optionally set an expiry date for tracking
💡 Pro Tip

Use the Smart Autocomplete feature - it understands plurals and common variations (e.g., "eggs" will find "egg", "tomatoes" will find "tomato").

Managing Stock

Keep your inventory accurate by regularly updating stock levels:

  • Use +/- buttons - Adjust quantities quickly with one tap
  • Automatic staples - When an item runs out completely, it's automatically added to your Staples list
  • Stock Filter - Use filters to see In Stock, Running Low, or Out of Stock items
